Default Motor mount failed - Quick help needed!!!

I had the car jacked up doing some last minute checks before a track day tomorrow. When I got finished up, I put the jack under the engine and begun to raise the car. Suddenly a mystery fluid began to drip from my car. I freaked out and put the car back on jack stands. I traced the fluid back to the drivers side motor mount. I'm sure I need a new mount, but am I safe to do the track day tomorrow with the mount in this condition? I hate to waste a couple hundred bucks and the last track day till July...

What do you guys think?

Get a Case of PBR (your favorite) and all your worries will fade away.....
Okay, now for the serious stuff. I hope someone else can shed some light on this because I have never experienced such a thing?
Are these mounts "filled" or solid rubber?

I had mine leaking fluid and drive it for a few months (maybe close to half year) before I replace them with RS mounts. Not sure if I'm actually taking any risk but the car runs fine with leaking mounts. (my car is used for spirited drives on road only with low mileage, no track days and no daily transport)

Thank you very much Patrick! My only concern is that it lost a lot of fluid quick. perhaps 3-4 oz.

If the failed mount hammers the hanger to failure , your motor might end up draging on the ground .
Have you welded up the hanger ?
Its a bit light from the getgo ...

Do you jack up the car using the engine? I know this was hammered to death in other threads, and most people thought it did no harm. I still have doubts, and I use the trailing arm to raise the rear one side at a time.

I had one of my mounts totally fail last year. The casing of the mount failed and tore through. This happened a few months after I purchased the car so I don't how long the fluid had leaked out before it failed completely.

there was a post of someone dropping an engine on a track day because of a failed mount.
Sorry to be a downer, but I would get it replaced. It's a pretty easy job.

Josh, call Sunset as soon as they open and see if Bob has one. If they do, we can figure out a way to get it to the track. I will have the jack and some tools. Text me if there are any special tools.

A great excuse to change both mounts to non-hydraulic. Either the factory RS or the WEVO will do. You will like them at the track.

Actually, I have factory racing solid magnesium mounts with no rubber at all in the car right now and they are noisier with more vibration than the RS units Porsche supplied with my car, but I don't mind this NVH increase myself.

I can't compare going from hydraulic to RS, or Wevo since I have no experience.

Note that Wevo offer a soft and a hard compound rubber "pillow" insert for street or track.

The advantages are less engine motion = better shifting and better throttle steering at the track
