Looks in very good condition. Handbrake needs adjusting by the look of it.
Not mad about that gearnob

Same seats as my 92. What is up with the gear shift ****? Also, carpet color looks off. Finally, price is way low if the other thread is on target. Low price is a warning sign - flood car or other blemish in the history. If the car checks out, it is a bargain.

I'd say you did, assuming it checks out ok. The shift **** would not be my choice, but if that's the worst thing - wow.

So it's a cab, and is that Amazon Green? Got any other pics?

Steve,

I also think it is a great deal. If you decide to pass, please share the seller info. Given the car seems to be from CA, I would be interested to pick up another 964 for spare.

Yeah, I really think I might go for it as a weekend getaway car and keep my 92 with 190k miles for daily driver. Just need to convince my wife.

Looks so sweet. Amazing how you can sift through all the usual ads over and over and not find anything good, and then suddenly a car like this pops up seemingly out of nowhere. What a deal - go for it!!!

I agree looks great. It also looks like it received most of not all of the improvements from Porsche. Any rust. Hidden rest may be under the battery.

Thumbs up

Pieces of this say creampuff to me thru the pics:
  • those look to be 16" cups.
  • the RED center tail light (Homer Simpson drooling sounds from me)
  • my oil cap hasn't looked that yellow since the 90's.
  • normal 'tell' point of seat wear, just ahead of the adjust switch, is perfect.
Sounds/looks like it was the lady's indulgence to a life spent lively.
What's that line out of Open Range, "still has the heart but not the legs"? Somehow I could imagine this being applied to this car's owner. Whoever gets this cab might luck into such a dotingly kept vehicle. Or not. Time will tell.

You probably already know this stuff, but don't buy just based on exterior or even cursory interior appearances, especially if it seems like too good of a deal. Be sure to run a finger along the inside edge of each of the fenders to make sure you can feel the OE ruberized undercoating. Most body shops don't know or don't want to spend the time on such minutia when they replace a quarter panel. Take every inch of removeable mats, carpet, trunk liner, spare tire, everything you can out and carefully inspect the paint, welds, etc. Get the sucker up on a lift and pore over it if you can. Pay the $ for a PPI w/ leakdown. Got to say it looks pretty sweet even though cabs aren't my thing.
