Default RS door bezel fixing

Gent's most of the way through the door panels now, and I've just been sent some bezels, but for the life of me I can't figure out how to fit the door handle variety..pt no: 964.555.781.02.

Your help is much appreciated.

Kevin

Are the the bezels for the opener or the pull?

The opener ones screw in from the rear, ones for the pull just snap over the handle.

Rob,

Have the screws for the opener, but nothing else for the handle, so couldn't figure out how they attached...

No screws for the handle bezels, they just clip over the handle.

Or, if your not using a proper handle and a piece of webbing like me, I used a 26mm washer and ground a couple of flat edges so the bezels would clip over.

Cheers Rob.

Put an order in for the webbing handles and pulls advertised on here, so not the pucker Porsche stuff, far too expensive, washers will do.

Stupid question no:2, is there a diagram to show where they fit into the door bodywork if at all? I wasn't sure if I needed to put some plastic recievers to screw into, like the lower door screws do, or just nut and bolt to the door panel itself.

I can take some measurements from mine if you like, they were near enough central to the unlock dial and down about 40mm.
I drilled two holes per door and used jacknuts and some original bolts to mount the handle. OE bolt is M6.

Thanks for the offer Rob, it would be great if you could do that for me.

Kevin

My handle is spaced 185mm hole to hole.

Handle centre is 85mm below the twist lock centre and the most forward bezel is directly above the pull opener bezel.

Hope this helps
