Brake Caliper Lettering?

Junkart, the caliper paint sands off easy -- right down to the aluminum.
I used a scotchbrite wheel on my dremel tool. Went right through it like butter. Stopped nicely once it got to the caliper metal.
I guess sandpaper would work, too -- but electric-powered tools are so damned hard to resist!![Smilie](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)

Thanks for the reply E! that is actually really good to know... i think powder coat gives the most durable finish. however, i'm not ballzie enought to take the calipers apart... :-( if i can sand/scuff it down to the bare finish, then i'd rather do that... then after, i can just get a G2 caliper epoxy paint, which based on what i've read they are not too shabby. And when i have enough money stashed away w/o the old lady finding out :-D then i'll get a big red!
