Cabrio flex?
Gentlemen,
I am thinking about getting a 964 Cabrio. However, not having ever driven one, I wonder how much flex I would have to deal with in an open top 964.
I plan to run the car on 17" wheels rather than anything bigger and with a PSS9 suspension on the softest damper setting. Will I be disappointed with such a car, sofar having only driven coupes?
Thank you for your feedback!

You don't say what he driving situations will be, but I love mine for streets. Tracks are a different story. Depending on what class, and purpose, you may have to add a roll bar or cage of some kind to even get on the track.

I would only be driving on the street. My RS will stay for track duties.
However, as country roads frequently have less than perfect surfaces, I wondered wether I would have to deal with wobbling steering wheel, creaking body and other potential characteristics of cabrios.

My cab is more flexible than my coupe. But does that detract from the fun of driving with the top down on a sunny day? No. The 964 cab's are great road cars. I'm not sure I would recommend one for track use, though.
