So he had three good switches , one broke and then the pass side would not go up .
What he needed to do to get the window up was take the two good switches that were left and install them for the pass window . Then the pass window will go up and down but the drivers will be dead .

I would try to explain the girlfriend but I'm sure I'd get it wrong .

Open the switch and check to see what has broken. if its the small plastic nubs that allow it to pivot there is a very simple and effective fix that will last for years. If its the molded columns that hold the springs that have cracked and broken (which is 99% of the time for me) then you will require a replacement.

(Search for Garretts post for the fix)

The good news is that I can find them for a decent price once again. last time I looked (approx.2 years ago) I seem to recall they were going for $20-30 apiece!!

found some on fleabaey for $20 each, bought some spares just in case. Good to know, thanks
