Help, squealing from under the dash.
On mine, its defintly related to the blower motor, because when I have oiled the fan/shaft it has dissapeared for a day or so,but allways returns. My only conclusion is the bearing for the fan or blower motor???
P.S.All the other symptoms are the same as you guys are getting,i.e sound only occuring when turning right and stopping when turning left.

I did some more testing as per Blown Aways suggestions, and it is definitely one of the heater system fans, pretty sure it is the right side. My next question is how do I get to those fans, I may as well replace both of them while I am in there.
Congratulations on isolating the cause of the noise ... although you'll find that replacing the fans is not only expensive, but labor intensive.
Do a search on this site, you will find a DIY on the job, as well as discussions on sourcing replacements.

crg53 - Good to hear you found the source.
As for getting to it, I got the guys at Jaz to sort it for me. That doesn't help you though!
You have to remove the fuel tank or at least move it forward to get enough space. Usual safety comments apply. Then taking off the trim between the fire wall and front screen you can see the fans and the five motor units that control the valves. Make sure these all work while you have the access.
Once you are in there, it is just a case of remove the fan units and replace and then put it all back together.
Take a look at PET diagrams and clean out the dirt that gets in the ducts where you can.
If you have a/c, there may be even more under there to get in your way.

Blown-
Please flesh out a little more on that tank move requirement. (Who knows? I may need these details to replace mine in the future.)
I was just in there watching servos move. (How's that for adventure!)
And I thought there's a metal bulkhead 'wall' separating fuel tank area from that (sub-windscreen) servo/fan-motor 'trench'?

So, how does that intervening metal wall/bulkhead play into this fan's remove/install?
