Default Scantool reset of low brake pad light?

I searched everywhere and could not find an answer to this. Sorry if this is an old subject.
I just got my Scantool working.
Reset the airbag light, (disconnect battery for the winter)
No issues with Motronic, (Pleasant surprise)
AC system had a bunch of codes that I just deleted because it works fine.
ABS section, could access, I have a C2, (is this normal?)

I did the brakes last year and broke one of the low wear sensor wires, so I left it off. The low pad iwarning lilght is still on in the dash lights, and I was under the impression I could reset /clear it with the scantool functions.

Am I mistaken in this assumption, and I really have to hook up another low brake light sensor in order to reset my warning light?

thanks!

you need to twist or solder the 2 ends together to complete the circuit on the sensor or the light will continue to come on as it still sees the fault.

Jon,

I think you meant you could NOT access ABS on your C2 with Scantool. That is normal as the Scantool only connects to the PDAS/ABS modules on C4.

Ricardo,
Sorry for my typo. Can NOT access ABS on the scantool, and I did not expect to either. my bad.
Nice Tool!!! Good job, and professionally packaged too! Only had one massive migrane headache getting it to work, but I'm strutting around like a banny rooster now!

Jim,
Thanks for the good advice on my brake pad warning lamp. Knowledge is a wonderful thing!

Thanks Guys!

Jon,

Is that your garage in the Avatar? Mind if I drive over for a visit and say, drop my engine, do some cleanup work, change a cam chain cover seal and then pop it back in?

What was the issue getting Scantool to work. Sometimes I get emails to help with troubleshooting so I'm curious as to your issues.

Big 10-4 on Ricardo's Scantool interface.
