Default AC compressor will not stop

I did a search and the below problem does not show up.

I just had the AC serviced and they overcharged the system so I had a lot of noise coming out of the AC compressor,,

I lowered the pressure but the AC compressor clutch will not turn off after I turn the AC off at the CCU. If I unplug it at the compressor and remove the voltage the clutch stops.

Then if I plug it back in it does not inegage the clutch until I turn on the AC at the CCU then again it will not shut off if I turn it off at the CCU..

Any Ideas?

Tks

If you have a dvm , put it on the line to the clutch .
Does the voltage go away when you turn off the ac ?
If the voltage goes away , the clutch is sticking .
If the voltage does not go away , the controller is "funny" .

When i pull the wire that carries the voltage , it shuts off , so it must be the controller..

I checked the relay and changed it thinking it was sticking but that was not it either, problem is the CCU is not a simple mechanism.
