Default AC compressor

Dear Rennlisters,
Can anyone help with some information about the 964 AC compressors? I recently replaced the OEM evaporator ( replaced with Kuehl evaporator) on my RHD Australian delivered 1990 964 C4. I am very happy with the evaporator. Instead of resealing my existing compressor again I ordered a remanufactured compressor (http://www.a-aironline.com/detail.aspx?ID=217) at what seemed a great price. Unfortunately it doesn't fit the car's mount and the pulley is the wrong size. So the existing compressor was resealed again- all ok so far. I've emailed the company but no reply yet.
So my question is: are there differences between US and ROW compressors?
Incidentally the same problem happened with the Kuehl receiver drier that I ordered (http://www.griffiths.com/shop/index....products_id=58). Thanks in anticipation.

ome911,

I don't believe there is a difference between ROW and US compressors. I could be wrong though. Where did you have the compressor re-sealed? I think I might be up for a compressor rebuild in the near future.

Hi Frans,
Thanks for that. The compressor was resealed by a local FNQ AC place. If you need a rebuild these guys sounded good although I didn't end up using them (http://www.allautoaircompressors.com.au)
