Jerry:

There is a good fuel injection shop in Forest Park - just off 19-41 near Forest Parkway. They do a lot of work on diesels, and I know they can overhaul a Bosch diesel pump competently. I am sure the gas spritzers are no problem, but have not used them for that (yet).

Default Injector Valve Removal?

I'm soon to send my injector valves off for cleaning, but how the heck to you get the injector valve unseated from the intake manifold receptor? I can twist the valve, but unable to pull it loose or out.

See this thread for a diagram.

You need to pull the horse-shoe clip (part #4) and then they just pull out. You may need to wiggle them back and forth a bit.

Note that the o-rings get hard with age and loose their flexibility and can be difficult to remove and even more difficult to reinstall. I had pieces tear free on replacing one. Not large, but enough to make it leak! They get new rings and hats when they get R&R'd.
