Now I wish I did what KLR wants to do and just call the seller and do a buy it now. Waiting a week stinks...
Send me $10 and i wont snipe it from you

Ha Ha.... You all are on notice that my final bid price is much more than the current cost of 2 brand new foam pads!

I just ordered some motor mounts from a guy selling on the FS section of RL. He had the mounts listed for - I think - 2 months. I post to his stale ad that "PM sent". Just by doing that, he had 2 other parties that line up behind me. All of a sudden everyone needed Wevo mounts!

You don't need glue if you use all the plastic doo dads.....
Put one of these on to keep the edge from dropping down.

Fred, did you make that or can you buy it somewhere? I saw a thread a couple of weeks ago where someone made one out of 1" x 1/8" aluminum. I spent about 2 hours last weekend with the aluminum piece, a drill, a hacksaw and a baseball bat. I finally gave up and threw the aluminum piece away. I bought another this weekend, but your retainer looks much nicer.

I removed my engine sound pad, soon after I got the car, and have never missed it. It weighed 5lbs...

tj90, just noticed your avatar. That's hilarious. Is that a t-shirt?

Matt, I made it from a piece of 2024 T3 Aircraft aluminum because it holds it's shape well. It is .040 I believe, I made a pattern from cardboard to follow the rear contour. The rear edge has a slight bow to it. I found 1/8" was too hard to work with. Also I wanted to follow the contours and go beyond the hinge. I should have saved my pattern. When I made it, I posted pix and said I would make a pattern if anyone was interested, but no one responded.
Where are you located? I have some aluminum left and we could make you one if you are close. If enough people want one, I could take it off and make a pattern, but it would have been easier before I put the engine back in. Shoulda, woulda, coulda...it'll get you every time. I should have made a pattern.

I bought an aluminum ruler at home depot for $8.99 as it was cheaper than a blank piece. Worked like a charm!
