I am still in the dark as to how they look. Do you need new trim rings? Is it the standard H4 which is circular, and perpindicular to the road, or is there a version that matches the stock H5 Lamp glass - tilted back with an eccentric shape?

I am a little foggy on how they are installed. Is there the ring that comes on the assembly with adjustment screws and then another ring that you paint that goes over the first ring?

Yes, that is correct. You install the assembled unit, aim, then install the trim ring.
