Default Ebay Store

Has anybody ever bought from this shop? http://stores.ebay.com/Road-and-Race-Inc

I saw some pretty good deals on a few bits and just wanted to make sure it's a reliable source.

Thanks

I used http://shox.com/ for my suspension, best price, great customer service. Dunno whether they ship across the pond, and the stuff you're looking for is pretty heavy, so you might be better off purchasing it from Europe.

I just ordered Bilsteins from shox.com and was happy with the price and fast shipping. Inside the US their shipping is really quite good. I have no idea their international shipping.

Had a look at shox.com and really can't believe this

Doing quite an extensive search here on rennlist I've decided to go for a more roadworthy setup than the RS parts I had in mind. Here is what I've been quoted in Italy (in Euros) for the following parts:

Koni Sports f & R - 1045.00
H&R Springs - 465.00
Pagid Blues F&R - 580.00
Tar-Ox Rotors F&R - 900.00
Total - 2990.00

Similar parts from shox.com and paragon (in dollars) come out to this:

Koni Sports F&R & H&R springs - 1025.00
Powerslots F&R - 639.80
Pagid Blacks F&R - 409.92
Total - 2074.72

Which in Euros is 1431.55! Less than half of what the parts cost me here in Italy

Surely shipping can't cost that much...

Also youy might want to check whether they are allowed to sell outside of the US or North America. It all depends on the contract they have with the manufacturer. This is done to protect other resellers in their respective countries.

if you ship to your brother.. you might want to do your research to what the duty tax is for your country. he might need to adjust the price for its value or split the order into smaller and send parts one or two at a time. just something to consider.

get him to send them as gifts or trial parts for testing only. I recently had some parts, which the vendor very kindly marked as test parts, not known to me at the time, and recievedd the items without any import duty in France. Still "Happy Birthday" is always a winner!!

I bought my Bilstein/H&R set-up from shox.com and found them to be excellent. They were happy to ship to the UK and even with the shipping and import duties, I still saved myself £350 over the UK price.
