Default Best way to restore that leather smell

I was wondering which products are used to treat the leather seats and also restore that Porsche leather smell. I have used the standard products available in stores, but so far not very happy with the results.

I have used leatherique to soften the leather up and then Griot's leather $$ rejuvinator to add in the smell. The smell will last a few months and then you will have to reapply the Griot's stuffs.

Griot's leather rejuvinator for me too. Works nicely to put some oil back into the leather and the smell is just like fresh leather. I never have the cars long enough after the detailing to see how long it lasts though.

Go to Tijuana, buy a childs "leather" jacket for $25...Note the starting price will be $75, but just say you'll keep "looking" and the price will drop faster than the housing prices in SoCal. Cut it in 1/2...place one half under the drivers seat and 1/2 under passengers seat......smells just like new! No rubbing, no polishing, no fuss. Should last easily a year.

Friend of mine used to put in small pieces of rubber in the car and let them sit for a while.. Won't help the leather smell but the car sure smells like new

This time a year I'd think you'd find Mexico to be quite a nice change.....even if its TJ.
