Online parts Canada works once every blue moon. I still have a few sets left if anyone is interested. The real price is well over 500$ but some sites have the numbers screwed up and when you try to purchase, it just doesn't work.
I'll see what I can do. So far I had 4 people respond and I was able to get one set of wires before thay ran out of stock. They are cheap but their inventory management is suspect. I'll let you know if I get some more.
About three months ago I placed an order over the Internet with the Canada parts people -- I got an e-mail back from them saying that they could not send parts outside of Canada -- I then e-mailed one of their salespeople -- to the "contact us" address -- he took my credit card number in an e-mail and sent me a set of the Beru wires - they took 10 days to arrive and total landed cost with freight was about A$190. Can't complain about the service and the price was rock bottom.
I am also curious about the 993 fitment: Realizing that the part numbers are different, but the 964 distributor/sparkplug arrangement is the same as the 993, is it not? (layout, distance point-to-point) I believe the coils are in a different location and the cable holders may not fit, but if that is all, then perhaps it can be made to work by reusing the original holders and shortening the two coil to distrubutor wires. If it does work, is the extra effort worth the $400 savings? I think so...
993_SC, that is what I was thinking -- what exactly is the difference between a 964 wire set and a 993 wire set?
Perhaps the 964 set could be modified easily -- I believe the plug boots unscrew from the wires?
A bit of DIY work would be well worth the $400 savings.

They have different part numbers for sure, and while the distrbutors etc are interchangeable I think one or more of the wires are different lengths making a a direct swap questionable. Anyone?
