Default Recaro pole positions

I bought a pair of PP's and they came without mounting seat bolts. Does anyone who has mounted a set of PP's know the bolt size and length.

Thanks in advance

Did the seats come with brackets and sliders? Sorry if that seems like a stupid question. If so, you simply use the mounting bolts holding the factory rail in place with the aftermarket sliders. It's four hex head bolts (per seat) which secure it to the floor.

I think Mark is looking for the hex bolts that bolt the seat to the brackets.

Apex Performance has the "Mounting Hardware" on their site. So does OG Racing a and a few others. I think it's $7 or something. It is essentially just the bolts and washers. I'm sorry I don't have the exact specifications on the bolt size, but I'm pretty sure they are universal for all Recaro, Sparco, OMP, etc. seats.

Hope that helps.

It's the same for all brands. I think they are M8x20 mm. Get the black 12.9 bolts, strongest spec.

I'm looking for the bolts that mount to the side brackets. I bought B&K brackets.

What is strange is there are no bolts and there appears to be no threads on the holes that are drilled! I called the place where I bought them to see what gives.

My old GT3's had blots and a tapped inserts, and they were the fake gt3 seats.

These are the real Recaro's.

My Pole Positions have the threads in the holes. Can you post a picture of the area? Is it possible that they have the holes in the bottom for a different style mounting?

I just got a set of Pole Positions also. The threads in the sides of the seats don't actually start until your past the plastic shell, if you look closely you can see the threaded metal piece a little deeper inside. I thought the same thing when I first opened them up until I looked closer.

well blow me down with a feather! There are inserts in the sides. They look so strange with the hole drilled and no visable thread. Thanks. Source some bolts and then install them.

Thanks again everyone
