Default Best Replacement Evaporator

I have a 1991 911 Turbo with suspected leaking evaporator. Can anyone suggest the appropriate replacement for this as far as brand or source? I see a Behr unit at a number of vendors ($419 at one sponsor), the Keuhl unit at Griffiths ($499) and unlabelled units at a number of vendors at various price points. (The Behr pops up on some WorldPac sites at the impossibly low price of $160.95 as well.)

Are there any compelling reasons to choose one of these over the other beyond price? Any BTDT would be greatly appreciated--I don't want to do this job twice.

Thanks,

Kevin

when I had mine replaced, I chose the Kuehl because of the sepentine design, which is supposed to be a little more effective in cooling,IIRC it has to do with the tubing being just slightly larger and less bends compared to oem as was explained to me.

I'm tempted by Griffith's claims as well Garry but am not sure I can justify spending 3x for it if that really is the difference. Can anyone else chime in from experience?

Thank you,

Kevin

Good point Garry. I think that's about a $30 part though, so I'm curious if the $160 unit is still a screaming deal.

I think Behr is the OEM part isn't it?
