But you can add it, only ~$400 per light, $50 for switch.

Sorry Steve, can't help with the routing of the pipe; however, I suspect it runs along (perhaps inside) the lower left side of the bodywork. I'm in the reverse situation of having the lights and adjuster etc, but cannot find the end of the pipe that connects to the tee piece which I've had to plug!!!

Pipe routing is alongside the loom (front to back)on the drivers side (rhd).

Finally got the part number for the blanking in order to replace the ***** above the stereo, CUP/RS style.

The number is 999.703.344.400 01C. And they cost 1.00 USD each :-). I'll have mine in mid next week.

Thomas, would you happen to have a part number for the Porsche kill-switch unit? At that price I think I might have to delete my light-adjust as well and install this!

Make sure you post a pic of the finished installation.

I'll post pics when I'm ready.

Do you mean the T-handle? Both the handle (incl wire) is a universal-kit from OMP, the kill switch too. The braket for the switch in front compartment is a stock part that you can order from your dealer. I can post the part number after work today or tomorrow if you want. The stock kill switch is a Porsche Motorsport part so you can't order it from your dealer, and it's probably a unit from OMP i.e but in another packaging and therefore more expensive.

OK, the part number for the kill switch bracket in the front compartment is 964.501.733.00GRV.

Thanks Thomas. I di an online search for the T-Handle and kill switch from OMP but could only find the type which has the removable key. Could you tell me where you got them from please?

Thanks

It is the one with the removable key. That's how it is on the Cup-cars too. You turn the key with the two wires, one from the dashbord and one from the ouside (below the windscreen). About the kill switch; buy the FIA-version which cuts the ignition through the DME-relay and not the more simple version that just cuts off the battery.

See pic.

I did notice there were two different types and wondered. I did a search and found references to frying the alternator etc.

The handle on your dashboard looks like a pull out T-handle rather than a turn key like the trunk mounted one. Is that correct and if so it's the one I'm looking for to put in place of the headlight adjuster rather than the key type.

Aha, you meant the handle itself. I found this from OMP, it's the one I have and you can also buy the "real" parts from www.fvd.de, look under "motorsport". It's the same parts that was used on the Cup-cars.

Thanks Thomas... I found the "real" "expensive" one on FVD and the considerably cheaper version from OMP. It's exactly what I'm after.

Some final pics. today I finished this little project and ended up making a blanking plate myself. Made it of a piece of black plastic I found, very similiar to other plastic parts on the dashboard. Very pleased with the final result. It looks better in real life wihtout the flashlight and looks more or less like the real thing.

The blanking plugs for front fog lights and rear heated window should arrive this week and then we are so close to the Cup as I can be having the newer/bigger dashboard.

Nice job!! It looks great Thomas... do you have any pics of the routing of the cable into the trunk? I suspect that my car being RHD the installation of the cable won't be quite as painless.
