Default Raw Porsche sound!

My first one had a “Cup Pipe“, second and third had it, then came a couple off 993 S in to my life with double mufflers. My last Porsche 964 that I bought 2 weeks a go, didn’t had any CUP pipe instead off the first silencer. There was mounted some small bend pipe as an substitute to the secondary silencer…….When I drive my new car it only takes about 3 minutes…then I have a headache!!!. I’m not a sensitive person, Its always nice with a heavy Porsche sound.
Today I mounted a second silencer, the car has now got the same equipment as when it left the factory…..
Holy smoke how smooth and good she performs now…Headache is gone……Have you ever considered to try this original state with your car?
I painted the area around the end pipe with silver heat color, reminds me off my 993 4S……
The other one is just a nice shot…and the last....can anyone guesse what that is, schoud go into the front hood....

actually the G pipe is one of the most popular mods. You would have no problem selling it on here.

I think the CUP pipe gives a deeper wroooommm than the G-pipe witch is very noisy in a high frequency...
I will put the G-pipe out fore sale here in Sweden to a an already half deaf person

I agree with you about the G pipe. I didn't like the sound particularly, so it was the first thing I changed. The car immediately felt more responsive with a proper final silencer and better balanced too with some weight back over that corner. To lose weight in the right place I'll change the primary for a cup pipe at some point.

There has been a lot of discussion on this. I went with a primary bypass and a cat bypass.. The sound is my favorite permutation... Its subjective for sure.

I'll second that, but challenging for track days.
