Default Aluminum shift **** for 964?

I am searching for a round aluminum shift **** for my 964. Does anyone know of a Porsche-specific **** that integrates with the leather boot or comes with it's own boot? I don't want a universal **** from Momo, etc.

Thanks

FVD also offers them but their customer service can be a little spotty. Do yourself a favor and call them, verify they're in stock and then place your order. They might have to order from Germany but at least you've got a name and number to follow up with:
FVD shift boots

Consummables for these cars can be easily ordered online, e.g. brake pads, rotors, oil filters, tires, etc. It's the upgrade parts which merit a little more attention.

Joey,

Only one experience with FVD, but it was good. Last spring, I ordered a body part through FVD. They said the part was available in Germany(or was it Transylvania?), and gave a projected delivery date. I was somewhat apprehensive, as it was an immediate need on my behalf. It arrived within their given time frame.

While I'm still adjusting to dressing myself with an extra arm, it's come in handy working with heavy farm machinery.

Yup, that's the best way, Noah. Give them a call and minimize any surprises.

That extra arm will also allow you to text while driving your 911. Sweet!

Hi, that is my car in that pic.

The shift **** is made by Ruf. You can get them with 5-gear-, 6-gear or no gear scheme engraved.

It is a really great feeling shift **** and I change the shifter on every Porsche I buy to that one.

Anyone here ever grab their aluminium shift **** after having the car sit out in the sun for hours ?

Ouch !!!!!!

FVD's customer service is exceptional, the best in Porscheland IMHO......I spend around $25K a year with them. They also have the cheapest Carrillo rods out there.....just bought a set last month.

Yep, can get pretty hot. But freezing your palm to the **** in winter compensates for summer pain.

Will your tongue stick to it in the winter?
