Wink Red: Is there any other color?

Scott-

Welcome aboard!
She's purdy, that's for sure. A Great year. Smoooth mirrors -- mmmm.
Others have said what need be said re watch signs.
(And don't pay any mind of those red-naysayers. Your Red is just a great color.)

One of the best 'mods' you can give your car (beyond proper maintainence, of course) is to learn how to drive her well.
Because there's lots of capability in your car. Lots.

Sign up with your local club, do track outings -- the more, the better! -- listen to your instructor's advice, and enjoy the experience that that car's about to give you!

And welcome to the slippery slope of Porsche ownership.

I've got a C4 and the electrics are playing up. The transmission warning light comes on and none of the internal electrics work. If I switch off and restart the car in four out of five times the warning light goes off and everything works. Damn frustrating!

Do you know of a whizz that can help. My service agent cannot.

Cheers

I am getting a great deal on the car due to some legal work I helped out on and didn't charge. So I just got lucky that someone who I had helped out was looking to get rid of what I was looking for. I'm getting it for less than 15k....

Default Thanks

Also, the pic that I posted had the other wheels on it. It currently has the factory 16 inch 5 spoke wheels. Thank for all the info and links to more reading. The current owner has owned the car for 2 years give or take and has put less than 4,000 miles on it since he's owned it. It was a third vehicle for him. Here is a shot of the wheels that come with the car.Name: IMG_0073[1].jpg

Size: 88.4 KB. The car comes with a car cover, clear 3M covers on the front, brand new tires, and the interior that is in it is brand new, and it was actually converted over to a targa interior removing the back seat and putting in the luggage rack instead.

Most 964s had problems with the dual-mass flywheels. Mine was changed out by the PO under extended warranty right before I purchase the car. The DMF problem gave the 964 a bad reputation early on, but once that problem is fixed, the cars are close to bullet proof.

No, I don't know of any more, but here is one that is listed on Cars.com It says it has a salvage title, but it's a 91 low mieage silver. It looks like it needs a new interior, or maybe just a good cleaning. I don't know who is selling this one though, and have no affiliation with the sale.
