I had leaks around my thermostat too. One of the houses was seeping through the rubber itself. I replaced all of them for good measure. Before ordering your hoses, look at the part number of the thermostat. There are two models and they use different hoses. Ask me how I know.

Anyone know what it should cost to resurface my fly wheel? Place quoted me 95.00. There aren't any groves on the flyhwheel, but it does look a little burnt blueish.

Naptown, I'm currently removing my engine tin to clean and repaint. You might as well while the engine is out. Then you can detail the entire engine. Engines can be beautiful too!

My engine tin was rusty so I had it powerdercoated. It turned out great and was less expensive than I expected. The cost was $120 ($20 per piece). I splurged and had the engine fan painted too.

Unhappy

These are the reasons I am reluctant to drop my engine to put in a new clutch. I know that once I get it on the ground, I will never finish the job because there will be just one more "might as well" thing to do. powder coat this, put in a new sensor, clean that, new gasket here/there, ... And I will blame it all on Rennlist.

Without the 993, I know I would be itching to get the 964 back together quicker than it is taking to do all this extra "while I'm in there" stuff. The weather has started to get cool, so I miss the Cab. Better get it finished quickly...
