Sounds like your fitting the glass in the incorrect place in the channel/rail.
Cab or coupe???

The glass is held in only by "press fit" nad over time becomes a bit tired.

I had exactly this problem and solved it by closing the gap of the channel along its length so it would hold the glass a bit more snugly. I used a small spacer that was thinner than the width of the glass and rubber combined and then a pair of multi grips to squeeze the channel up against the spacer. I glued a a new rubber in to the channel and pushed the glass back into the rubber... hey presto.

If you find that after squeezing the channel together it is still easy to pry open again, then you may need to replace the channel with an new one.

Regards,

Neil
