Default Removing Rear blower - keep frt blower working??

I removed my rear blower unit and installed a heater bypass pipe . After install and disconnecting all wiring to the blower and the other elements attached I noticed that the interior will only work with the AC on or with temperature control at the full left position. Once you rotate the temperature **** to get heat in the cockpit the interior blower will stop running.
Is there a electrical connection that I need to complete or make a by pass for in the area of the rear blower to get the interior fan to work. Without the interior blower there is very little warm air that comes into the cockpit area -
Has anyone figured this out ??

Gus ... try a search for "bypass" or "heater bypass" and look for a couple of very recent threads. There appears to be a fix if you have the later 964.

You might be SOL with the '91...

Here's the Bill Gregory article on heater blower bypass installation.
