I just got the car in the air and I saw that the front underbody panel covering the PS rack is hanging down. The body studs have broken off. Does anyone know of a fix?

I would think many of us have this problem. As you say the studs that take plastic nuts are prone to corroding. Luckily there are at least 4 'hex screws' that hold that cover in place. But it would be good to know if there is a fix for the corroded studs.

If the stud pulls clean from the body I would fit a riv-nut in its place and then you can use standard a standard metric bolt.
