The worst thing about that car is that its owner doesn't even know that it has been lowered. Other than that, it looks sweet: lowered, cup IIs (prefer 964 wheels, but still a nice upgrade), clear turn signals, and the somewhat rare sport seats. I love the overall effect, Plus, red/tan is a classic combo from that era.

Would a 964 lowered that much have problems with scraping? My '04 MCS is stock height, and I am always scraping on driveways and such, and it's rather annoying.
Also, how much stiffer is that ride going to be over stock?
Thanks again for the input.

Oh, I'll also add that the guy said he's only owned it for ~6 months... maybe it was simply an impulse buy, and he didn't really know what he was getting?

Mine is a lot lower than that, and, yes, I do have to be careful, but all you are scraping is an unpainted piece of plastic on the bottom of the bumper. You can't see the scapes unless you get down on the ground.
The stiffness depends on what they did to lower it. In any case, the stock springs and shocks blow, so you would likely want to change them anyway. Better that someone else did this for you, assuming they didn't mess it up. The 1st thing I'd do with any 964 I bought would be to lower it and stiffen it up a bit. It was the best decision I made with mine.

If it was lowered by adding good progressive springs and replacing the stock dampers with good after market ones (i.e. Bilstein, Koni, etc) then this is actually a huge plus! A very good thing, indeed, and worth maybe $1000+.
If, however, it was lowered by chopping a coil or two off of the stock springs then I would run away!
What really matters is how it was all done.
