Thats nothing compared to driving in snow / ice with dirt , mud , sand and salt .

The engine being outside doesn't bother me too much because engines are exposed to the weather anyway. However, there are several oil and air intake ports that are open. Those would cause me to avoid this engine.

My two cents.
