Default WTB- Rear reflector/tail lights

Mine are now quite faded and pink and spider cracked- for my street car I'd like to update but new prices even from places like Performance Parts are pretty pricey- are there other alternatives or just bite the bullet?

By chance anyone parting out and have in very good condition?

TIA

Ritter, take a look at this thread. Same technique applies to the center reflector I believe..

Or maybe better still: http://www.matrixracing.com/p-4115-t...oke-color.aspx

smoke em out and never worry about pink again- or would the pink/smoke combo end up looking fugly.

Anyone used these products?

I didn't do this myself but as long as you follow the technique outlined in the thread with similar products you should be ok. Probably a lot more economical than buying a new set of rear lights. Other ppl might want to chime in regarding which products to use..

Ritter i did mine with that testers candy apple model paint and they came out just great......First sand with 600-800 grit then do a couple coats of red then several coats of clear... i used UV resistant clear from micheals craft store so it would yellow. Wet sand with 2000 grit then Buff to a nice shine.

Heres post with my results...
