No - if they were original they'd have the width on one side, and the offset on the other side, of the valve. I can't quite read where they are made but if it's Italy they are made by Mille Miglia which makes many wheels for the major car manufacturers (e.g. Toyota) so are considered to be good quality.

Yes they look repairable to me.

Those markings are different than on mine, and in different locations.

Look like the Mile Miglias to me with ET 47 on a 9" and ET 52 on a 7 1/2". In the UK you can pick these up new for about £700 incl. VAT

Why repair the wheel? They are cheap from Tire Rack.

Those are heavy and are not worth it.

I hate the aftermarket Miglia's The radious is incorrect. I can spot them a mile away.

Go OEM !

+1.

Unless the set can be purchased for <$500 and with very good tires, I would rather seek out a set of factory Cup II's as an alternative. Factory Cup I's in 17's in very good to excellent condition seem to be getting harder to come by.

You're right. When I was searching for a set of Cup Is they were pretty hard to find unless you're willing to pay siginificantly more than what you can get an equivalent set of Cup IIs for and most are 7s and 8s. One plus for the Mille Miglias is the extra width and more correct offsets. Cup IIs are everywhere since they were stock on the 993 and a decent set can be had for $600. I do prefer the Cup Is on the 964 though.

I love the Mille Miglias because they have much better width and offset than the factory wheels. If you bend one, who cares, just buy another from Tire Rack for $200. No big deal, they look correct "enough".

My RSA has 8 and 9" CupI's with proper offsets. Bearing a 965 prefix, I've assumed them from a Turbo. From strictly aesthetics, I agree with Chris.
Most of my reading here leads me to believe the MM wheels are heavier. True?

The factory wheels are heavy too. I'd be surprised if there was much more than a few lbs difference between the two.

The bent rim does not look repairable to me. Will the tire even hold air? Bending aluminum is a trick. There are people know how, but I would not try to straighten it and risk far greater damage if the rim fails at a less than opportune moment.

Geoffrey,

My memory is poor. What did you opt for on your lwt 964?

I bought the Mille Miglias from Tire Rack. $1500 with Yoko Advan street tires, how can you go wrong with that? 7.5" front compared to 7" and 9" compared to 8" of the RSA or 9" of the Turbo. The 7.5" fit the 225s better and the 9" fit the 255s better. I drive my car daily summer/winter and haven't bent one yet, and I'm quite certain I can't tell a difference between the weight of a stock wheel vs a Mille Miglia.

My race car has proper magnesium BBS centerlocking wheels which are period correct and proper for a track only racing car.

I have stock cup 1s on my 964- I can't tell the difference in the picture above- if somebody points it out to me I'll probably notice it and it will bother me
