visible23,

What did you expect from us, capitulation? :-)

The 993 owners go into a weekly wobble over Bruce Anderson's assessment.
Always intertaining. Always redundant.

As always I am a big fan of the various opinions I get when I post here as well as the variety of ways those opinions are shared!

I talked myself into a 993 when I think I was more drawn towards the 964 on a gut/visceral level and now here I sit, semi-satisfied (great cars both) with a nagging suspicion that I leapt before I looked.

Nothing too serious and certainly nothing that with enough time and effort can't be rectified to my satisfaction.

And again, as always, thanks for the input.

Don't get me wrong.. I kinda wish I could afford one of each. Simply as a matter of style, I like the 964's attachment to the traditional look/feel, with a sculpted manipulation that brings it into a more modern form. The 993 looks fantastic in the wide body configuration, and it has a shaved down look, losing some of the hoary old details that we are attached to, while keeping the elemental shape that is so alluring. It is one step more modern in look and feel... If presented with the choice now I am not sure which way I would go...

Yeah, I actually have already fixed it. That's an old photograph. But I like the photo and haven't had a chance to shoot a new one that I like as much. Maybe I should just photoshop the picture.

Although, admittedly, it took a while.
