Lowered - before and after
This weekend's project was to lower the car and firm it up a bit. We installed Bilstein HDs and H&R reds. I was looking for a 20% stiffer ride over stock. I think it's pretty close to that. It may not be obvious in the pics, but it's lower by 1 1/2 inches. It looks and rides the way a street 911 should now.

Many thanks to Rennlist members Geoff (Hawk911) for hosting/helping and Ricardo for helping, and those who have posted their suspension projects which we used as a reference for the work we did.

Hawk & Hildy,
Thanks for the hands on suspension-change training for my car (the Silver C4 at SUV right in the photos).
Here are my shots from the day.
Bilsteins & Reds up front (Hawk & Hildy, this is the left front before we realized we replugged the ABS sensor connector into the wrong location)

Before & After (I have flag mirrors, original SUV ride height, 16" D90s and clearly Hildy's car does not!)

Ahem - it's the Wisconsin/Illinois 964 Club. Hellooo?
The first thing I thought of when I saw the shock pic was - "That's that damn sensor!" For the rest of you - I plugged into the wrong hole giving my anti-lock brakes a fit. Also, the wing would not deploy.
Notice (2nd pic in post) that I cleaned up the car a bit. I reattached the moulding, ditched the painters tape, and washed the car.
