Default Anyone have a copy of Porsche 911 (964): Enthusiast's Companion

Hey friends,

I've been looking for a copy of Adrian Streather's book:

Porsche 911 (964):
Enthusiast's Companion™

The publisher has it on backorder.

Anyone have a copy they want to sell/loan?

Stu

Wow, that sucks! It says it's unavailable on the Buy.com site, and amazon.

Ebay usually has one for sale at any given time. May be worth a look.

Thanks to all for your input. Currently, Ebay doesn't have anything listed. Amazon and Buy.com are on backorder.
Thanks Indycam for all those links. Several default to Amazon or another supplier (which state the book is on backorder). Maybe one or two of them have the book in stock. I'll contact a few to check.

Is Adrian Streather's book the only/definitive service manual for the 964? I tried a search for a 964 Bentley manual and was only able to find the Porsche Carrera 964: 1989-1994 Technical Data - Without Guesswork: Carrera 2, Carrera 4, RS America, Turbo 3.3, Turbo 3.6.

It seems that is the case, but wanted to be sure before I pull the trigger and buy one. Thanks. Jim

No it is not a service manual and does not pretend to be. It is an information book.

I've got one and it has lots of great pictures and info about our cars, but if you want a "How To" manual for things like changing brake fluid for example, theres a few DIY sites around that may help, google is your friend!

The Bentley manual has limited info. I bought mine secondhand so the pain of disappointment was reduced.

I have a brand new copy that I think I paid $45 for. PM me if you interested.

BTW, I have the new one because the car arrived with a copy.
