I'm sure many can relate. My wife doesn't want to go out today in the 964 because it's "bumpy".
Wait till she gets a ride after I install the H&R reds and Bilsteins. Now that she has expressed a preference for riding in anything but the C2, the gloves are off. Actually, had I known this 2 weeks prior, I would have opted for the JIC suspension. Oh well.

Let see here...hummm Let me list the top 10 things my wife doesn't like about my964...
10. Rides too rough(HD's and Eibachs)
9. She smells like gas after riding in it(big lumpy cams)
8. The AC isn't very good?
7. Sits too low(afraid of SUV's)
6. Afraid something might happen to it and I will go nuts?
5. Isn't comfortable(but likes the 996 which I think rides worse on 18's)
4. No luggage space(what does she want to take on a Sunday ride?)
3. Has to be parked miles away(I do this with all our cars)
2. It's old(so are we...well not that old)
And the number one reason my wife doesn't like my 964...
1. It must be a guy thing to like that car

A couple of days ago I was driving through town on a beautiful sunny fall day with the windows open. I'm slowing to a stop in traffic and I hear this young voice say "Man, what a cool car!". I'm looking around to see who it is and there are a bunch of school kids maybe 8 or 10 years old. It takes me a minute to realize it's this young girl giving me some sort of modern thumbs up (fist to the chest and sideways peace sign kinda thing!?). She's really grinning away and loving the car.
Some day, some lucky bloke's gonna marry that girl. I sure hope he's got oil in his blood!
Oh, and my wife's not too keen on my 964 either. She loves that I have it, but won't drive it and would generally rather take the suburban when we go out.

Too bad, my wife is asking when are we going to do a cup suspension? The Eibachs are too weak for the track. However, she did say it was a bit tough to drive to the track so she insisted I purchase a trailer.
Buy her a sports bra and take her to the track. Thats what I did and 13 years later I have to tell her to hold up on the mods.

I'm not sure how to take this Geoff.
Ironically, she chose the car. I was going to pass on it because "it was too nice". Yeah-stupid I know. Anyway, I leave the sellers garage and give her the lame excuse. She slams on the brakes and tells me to get out and buy that car! The only reason she drove away in the first place was she figured we would pick it up later.

Then why keep it? You should sell it to me really cheaply so I can give it the proper thrashing it deserves.
Sounds just like my wife about my 964, BTW. But, what do I care?
