No, I didn't. I see a teency bit of rub but not much. Maybe that's because my car is lowered, has 22mm rear sway bar and linear springs. Also, my rear wheels have either 47 or 48mm offsets which means they're pushed out about 1/3" further than 55mm rims.

I'll keep an eye out for issues, though. Thanks for the reminder.

Does that brace really fit on the 964 P/S steering rack? It's alright on the manual racks but aren't the pipes to the rack in the way for the brace on a 964? The pipes to the 993 p/s rack are routed another way, aren´t they? .

I think it will depend on whether or not you have the piston valve (upto MY92) or the rotary valve (anything built after July 19, 1991) steering rack? The brace should work ok (I haven't personally tried it) with the rotary valve racks but the newer piston rack might have a problem UNLESS the original owner had the car dealer serviced and complained of noise from the power steering unit. In which case the dealer would have replaced the pressure and return lines with those that were eventually used in the 993. With the photos I have of the piston rack with the old lines and the angle they were taken from I can't tell if there is enough clearance between the line and the right side bolt head. Someone else will have to physically check, I don't have power steering.

I have a MY92 and IIRC I did a check with a piece of wood before I ordered the brace and it was then I realized it wouldn't fit. But when the p/s rack gave up I bought a manual rack instead and got the brace at the same time.

So before you buy the brace, check that it will fit between the fixing points on the rack first.
