OK, you'll probably find this entertaining so here goes. I'm just dying!

After a long deliberation about what to do with the suspension the 964 C4 Cab gets new Bilstein HD's, a corner balance and full alignment 3 weeks ago. It's transformed and drives great! Checked all fluid levels etc. last week...perfect.

This past friday my wife is putting the roof down and craaaack one of the roof frame components self destructs. Take it over to my wrench where it sits in his shop all weekend and Monday AM get a call the steering rack has leaked all the fluid out all over his showroom floor!

Thinking back about this I did notice some suspicious fluid in the driveway this weekend where the car was parked last friday. However, my 993 was now parked there for a day or so and I spent the weekend trying to find a leak on that car!

I am assuming the steering rack change will now require a realignment?

The roof part is rediculous expensive from PAG so we are trying to get this one rebuilt by a local machine shop.

Stay tuned......

UUUgh!

Some of the roof parts can be welded -- lots cheaper.
