A quick question: Can you fit a G50/03 gear box (or in this case a G64 gearbox modified to fit a C2) in a 964 Turbo? If not, what's the difference between the G50/03 and the G50/52 Turbo gearbox?

ISTR that in Adrians book the final drive ratio is different to the non-turbo. The Turbo would also have the zf-type lsd as standard.

Of course I could be wrong... it's been a while since I flipped through the 964 book.

The actual box has a LSD, but what about the final drive? What is the down/upside? Is just another gearing or is stronger in some way for the Turbo?

G50/03 is the same externally as the g50/52, internal ratios are all shorter, the difference is ~10mph in 5th(~161 for /03 vs ~171 for /52)

G64/20 - 32 can be used in a 964C2 also, but G64/00 - 02 can not

the G64/00 -02 are totally different, using concentric output shafts
