Cabrio roof - DIY waterproofing
After 17 years loyal service, my cabrio roof was well past it's prime in terms of waterproofing. I looked around on the web and found this stuff (no affiliation)
It's a paint-on weather proofing sealant for cab tops. Applied really easily with a paint brush. It's actually a liquid rather than a paint-like substance. It's absorbed easily and dries within an hour or 2.
Results: - tried pouring a glass of water on the roof. The biggest problem was trying to photo the result! The water just stayed together and ran off the roof in one long sausage!
Here are a few photo's - the water beads really well. I couldn't get the water to stay in one place on the roof
The stuff cost £21 and is sufficient for at least 2 applications.

Yep, Renovo is the business for cab roofs.
They also do a cleaner for the plastic windows that turned mine (previous 964 cab) from opaque to clear.
Amazing stuff that actually works :-)
