I decided to clean my intakes as many on here have.... wow it was caked on blackness. I ended up letting them sit in degreaser over night and that did the trick. Should I do more? Anyone polished them? Can you?

I would not polish the intakes as you want tubulent air when it comes into the combustion chamber as it promotes more complete combustion. I did polish my heads as I wanted to reduce the build up of carbon and to decrease any hotspots for knocking.
