RHD pedal retrofit?
In Adrian's book, he mentions a pedal "retrofit" option for RHD cars which apparently moves the pedals over to the right, thus creating the space for a foot rest to the left of the clutch pedal.
Has anybody with a RHD 964 seen/tried this?

I found a thread where there is a reference to the pedals being re-designed for the 964 turbos.
Any RHD turbo owners out there who have space for a foot rest on the left of their clutch?
I'm 6' 3" so I don't struggle with the offset issue. The only niggle is where to put your foot when not using it. I've taken to sticking it between the pedals, which is actually quite comfortable, but impractical in traffic.

The rhd 964 turbo does indeed have a small footrest to the left of the clutch as standard. It's fine with my size 11's... you may struggle with big heavy shoes or boots though (may catch the clutch pedal).
The image shows my car in the showroom before I bought it and just after it arrived (hence the reason for the crappy presentation of the interior!)... but you can see quite clearly the footrest to the left of the clutch pedal.

My pedal arrangement is different to Megatrons as mine has a space between the clutch and the brake with a small flat footrest. I think if not original it was fitted to suit the previous owner.

Anybody have a mod/retrofit that would increase the space between the pedals?
I am limited to narrow shoes (size 13 or 14's) in a RHD C4. I find the gap between the gas and brake pedals too close.

Just be careful - I find it much more difficult to heel & toe with the 'footrest to the left' setup than with it between clutch and brake.

The pad in between the pedals is standard
- the new peddle box was introduce on the 2 and 4 in about 91 - at the same time as the top button release for the rear squab
- however, the whole plan was screwed by the recession in '90, the next two years cars sat in a field before they found buyers - as a result the new pedal box and the button update didn't really hit the UK market
- too much old stock lying around masquerading as new cars and then there was the 993
