Default corner balance/alignement cost

The shop I am taking my car to for Corner Balance and Alignment is quoting about $355 for the job. 4 hours at $80/hour + materials? What ever materials means.

Anyone have an idea if that is reasonable?

That seems reasonable to me. I just installed Bilsteins myself, and then had my favorite shop do the final fine-tuning, and it was $425. I know the alignment part can be frustrating and time-consuming. Especially if some of the larger fasteners/fittings at the rear are un-cooperative.

Seems priced right. I know of a couple of Porsche mechanics who seriously question the need for a corner balance on a street only car. I have no idea what is right....YMMV

Shop rags, hand cleaner, and WD 40..... They should charge about $1 per car, and really should charge incidentals to overhead.
