Default Total 911. Living the Legend

Whats up with August issue of Total911. The living the legend section does not have a 964 in it...

Maybe they should pick one of us and put us in there. Lord knows there is a whack load of people on the 964 forum who are writing up an encyclopedia worth of posts each month. Many of whom I am sure would do an excellent job of filling in the gap.

I'm worried we are losing our representation in the mag!

Kirk:

Total 911 does have a 964 in the section "living the legend". What happened was that John Boggiano trade in his 964 for a GT3.
Maybe he can explain it better if he's reading this thread.

I have to admit, the Living the Legend section was the first I read but now only RobMug's C2 carries the 964 torch so you are right, we are losing out to other models.

I nominate Kirk to do a regular write-up.

Kirk,

My first vote would be you and your SoK conversion. I am sure many readers would love to hear your adventures with the car.

HaHa! The section is called "Living the Legend", Not "Repeatedly dismantling the legend". I'm sure they want people who actually drive Porsches, not just drop gobs of money into treating them like a reuseable jigsaw puzzle.

I always liked Johns writeups with his car. But he has moved on to the GT3 (and god bless him, I wish I had one in the garage too!) So we are getting a little short on 964 material in there.

It always strikes me as if they have a hard time filling in the 'living the legend' section. Which I find interesting because every month we have tons of disscussions on the forums on different topics. (Usually similar to the living the legend format where one of us is doing something and drags the rest of the group into it somehow)

Oh well. Maybe I am just getting too much 996 turbo/ gt3 / 997 envy from all the articles lately.

LOL - It's such a long time since I actually laughed out loud at something I read!

Anyway, don't forget Rob's 964 C2 is still featured in there. Perhaps there is room for another 964 though.

Theres's always a bit of an ebb and flow to these things - I know that at any one time, one or more versions of 911s will seem under/over-represented, but it all evens out over time hopefully.
