And a few more. You'll notice that the 962 was going too fast to catch.

Ok, my turn...

First, my 964!

A nice 912, if I could buy a second Porsche this model would be on my short list, something that needs a bit of work to restore, here is a perfect example.

1973 Porsche RSR Super Carrera

I love the early 911s (this may have been a 912, can't remember)

nice shots all! Let me say from the Milwaukee Porsche club- all the attendees made it a HUGE success. The Porsche Park area was full each day, with about 250 cars parked, and probably thousands of people thru the area to see the cars and hear the stories or Peter Kitchak and then the more notable Brian Redman himself.

Geoff- you should have posted a pic of me working my butt off polishing the GT3, not sitting on it. Not my best side either

Great shots all, but I'm surpised Ricardo was the only one to post a 964 pic. Here's my contribution-

The Speed 8 was awesome, btw.

i talked to the guy that took all the RA photos that weekend. Nice guy. He shoots a Canon, and had a 28-300 IS L lens on his Canon 30d.

edit: he seems to have repeated his pictures. I know he had Brian Redman on his agenda Sunday.

Rick,

Great shots. Love the groups of cars on the track with the shallow DOF only on the lead car. What camera and lens did you use?

Hawk,

Isn't it crazy how the Camera body we both use (Canon 300D) almost seems disposable, its the glass we need to sink all our cash into!

Ricardo,

The lens I used is a 500mm f/8 mirror lens which I use to use when I shot with that stuff called film. When it is used on the digital camera, it works out to be about 750mm. I also like how it can make a subject stand out.

Ricardo,

Sorry, the camera I use is a Nikon D70.

Rick, nice shots. We should make a rule though- if you get shots without fence in them you must tell us which corner you were at so others can benefit. I'm sure there's enough room for a few more of us. What lens is that? the D70 is a 1.6 crop, so it must have been a 450mm or so.

Ricardo- I WANT A 30D!!!! I'd really love the 30d and the 28-300 IS L, but that's a $3500 combination I don't have the wallet for.

If I were a bettin' man I'd say those last two are from 8, one inside one outside.
