Default Master warning light

I recently bought a 93 964 coupe. My first Porsche. I'm sure you have an idea how excited I am. I may have a problem with my master warning light but I am not sure. When I start the engine the master warning comes ON along with the other warning lights, then it goes out for a second or two and comes back on (and stays on). When I reset it, it goes off and stays off. Is this sequence normal?
Thanks for the help.

no. check to see that all the lights that are suppose to have bulbs in them. Someone may have taken a bulb out or one burned out masking a problem.

The sequence is normal if you have another warning light active. It may be the bulb for the other light is blown or was removed. Check against the owner's manual and see if any of your warning lights are out. All should light up when you first turn on the switch.

Humm, looks like my check eng light is not coming on. Any idea how to replace it? And I suppose I'll need to get the codes to figure out what the problem is? (O2 sensor perhaps?)
Thanks

Oh, and the pics will be coming soon...

Verify that the "airbag" light comes on (around 2:00 on the Clock Face) at the turn of the key. This is notorious for coming on due to, usually, a faulty solder connection in the gauge. The simple fix was to remove the bulb!

NOW....where are the PIX?
