My new (er, slightly used ) P-car; 964
Its a '92 C2 and this is the "before" (before current mods underway) picture. Its a 30 ft beauty (6.5 cosmetically) but about 8 mechanically.
It has 136k mies on it but compression test recently is strong. I just drove it
+700 miles from Miami to Atl and no incidents. That night I put cardboard under the car- not a drop of oil the next morning.
I'm keeping the 993 in Nassau so this car is in Atl to use as occassional driver/track car. Its in with German Car Repair for first round of mods (JIC Cross suspension, corner balance, RS ss, seats, harness HID lights etc.).
I was looking at another C2 in SJ but thanks to Chris on the 964 forum, he pointed this one out- though hardly perfect, I think it should be perfect my intended application.
And to think I was considering a 996. Tsk tsk.

Thanks all.
The car came with the twist wheels you see and primary bypass (and the worst looking and sounding stereo I've ever seen or heard). Oh and a new uninstalled dash- the one on it now has some cracks.
Other than that- stock.
One of the fogs is cracked so I took the opportunity and wil replace with brake vent/fog lights from Shaw. I got a gorgeous steering wheel from Carnewal that is amazing in person but am really concentraing on suspension and occasional track prep.
I tried a Corbeau seat that fit me well (FX1) so will likely go with those- and on and on . . .
Question though- if I already have a primary bypass, what next should I do to the exhaust (aside from replace it altogether)- what will aid performance and still keep the car street/track legal?

Nice car--I have the same one (same colour, same year, 18" turbo twist wheels, primary by-pass).
Besides a large, radical change, I believe the only change on the exhaust you might make (if you want to keep your primary by-pass) is to add a cat by-pass, since adding a g-pipe makes an unbearable sound. I have yet to hear a good description of what the cat/primary by-passes combo sounds like, so maybe someone will pipe in. What I do know is that the g-pipe with cat-pass, and keeping the stock primary, has quite a nice, low rumble.
Maybe others can help us out here since we both seem to be in the same situation exhaust-wise.

+ 1 on the cat by pass and G Pipe. Sounds great and there was a noticeable power increase with the cat by pass for my car, revs faster and accelerates harder and sounds great.

Sound is a nice deep burble but no drone. Occasional pop on the over-run...but no flames.
