Default Rear child car booster seats (installed)

Someone else posted previously that the Cosco High Back Booster seat from Walmart fit perfectly in the back of a 964. I picked these up over the weekend and was able to get the whole family in the car. The kids loved it. I'm all set now for a relaxing trip to a friend's summer home in Wisconsin this weekend for father's day and we will be taking the Porsche.

Here is the link to these seats at Walmart:
Cosco High Back Booster

In the photo below you will see that my older son is using the seat in full booster mode with the actual rear seat belt strapping him in. My younger son still is not heavy enough for that type of install so he is using the booster seat harness with the seat itself retained by the rear seatbelt. Once they outgrow these seats they should be the perfect size to just use the real rear seats which seemed to be sized for small children.

As a side note there is another type of booster sold online that looks like it will work. I do NOT know if they fit or not. They are only $20 online and look very narrow. Maybe someone else can give them a shot. Cosco Traveler Belt Positioning Booster

Glad to see that it worked out for you. In my case I would be too close to the steering wheel if I had a seat behind me. When I used to put it behind the passenger seat it was o.k. but that is only because my wife is short.

Nice fit Ricardo. I hope to have Meg riding in the car soon enough with the same setup.

They look happy!

I needed a mighty-tite to get my little ones's car seats really tight.

Check out this website...bolt-in 4-point harness for kids. I might buy one once the kids are a little bigger. Fire department said it looked good to them for a toddler.

Enjoy Ricardo.

I'd be interested in the traveling booster also. I've got my son in the same one you have pictured and it looks like maybe the traveling booster sets back more in the seat and would allow for more room. I might go to the local walmart and see if they have one in stock to look at.

These look good, I bought the Porsche style (same seat without the Porsche Logo) seat on ebay UK. for about $100 it fits OK but the belt just barely reaches and I'm not sure how well this seat is going to grow with my son. I might get this Cosco instead.
I also noticed that on your younger son the buckle is around his stomach. You should raise it so it is on his sternum.

Default Cosco Traveler

I tried the Cosco Traveler version at Wal-Mart. It did not fit. The base was too wide to fit inside the seat.

Will be ordering the High Back version now.

Greg,
The Cosco Highback seats will fit perfectly. Checkout this link for more seat pictures...

I would consider locating/adding the upper tether mounts... that will really keep the seat in place:
