Default Unbuilt model of early 964

I just saw this unbuilt model of an early 964 on eBay and thought a Rennlister might be interested. Kind of cool, actually--I don't recall having seen too many of these. Hey, you could paint it the same colour as your own (and mod it?!).

Hey, that's my auction Believe it or not, I had someone email me to verify that it did indeed have Design 90's since he was building a replica C2 model for a customer (it did have the D90's inside). I don't have the talent to build models, but if it was affordable, I'd love to have a model of my C2 with the RS 3.8 wing (and polka dots too).

I have this kit. Nice Fujimi kit, I believe it is engineless and I will be building a perfect match to my 1990 C4 with D90s and flag mirrors. I will get around to it sometime in my retirement which by then I hope to have Cup 1s and Aero mirrors!

The 934 RSR was always my favourite (in Orange of course ) and the kit looks great, but I'd don't know if it would survive UPS to the UK

D90's WOW! Those TOTALLY KICK BUTT!!

If it was a targa top that bad boy would be coming to live with me in Virginia. But alas it's not.

Default Model collection

It's cheaper to collect cars at 1:24 scale. Here is the basement collection awaiting retirement. Loved building models in high school and will probably get back into it when my kids start begging me to buy them some. What's interesting is that I learned a lot about the basic vehicle architecture of many of my favorite cars from previous builds. The Japanese kits have terrific quality.

I've got that kit still in the box too. The chances of it being assembled at any point in the near future are slim to zero. I think if its going to be done it needs to be done perfectly which would take a lot of hours. Saving till retirement sounds like a good idea. Hopefully i'll get that far

RicardoD, nice collection, especially the Ur Quattro. That is a dream car from my childhood that I will have to own, full size, one day. Finding one in the UK, in good nick, requires more cash than buying a 964!

I also got the fujima kit from japan, and it came in perfect. It has flag and aero mirrors, and left and right hand drive dashboards. Eventually I will build it after I am done with the first project Porsche.....
