Default Teardrop mirror question??

I've got teardrops on my rhd C2, which were on it when I got it.

I've noticed that I've got a bit of a blind spot on the drivers side occasionally and after a scare, religiously double check now. Sometime you don't realise there is a blind spot until a near miss

While in slow traffic the other day I realised that it looks like the passenger side mirror has a wide angle of view compared to the drivers. Anyone else noticed this and could I get a similar mirror for the drivers side that would probably eliminate the problem.

ta.

Here is a link to convex mirrors for both sides, however if you put it on the drivers side objects may appear smaller than they actually are.

Get yourself some blind-spot mirrors for £5. They may look a little silly but they'll save your life and your bodywork everytime.

Proper adjusted, there should be very little blind spot, even with a 964.

The first thing that is taught at a DE is correct seating position, mirror postion, and hand position -- it is not all as obvious as it sounds.

Amen on the mirror adjustment procedure. I do mine as recommended, and I drive on the Atlanta downtown connector each day to work. I confirm proper adjustment by watching a car I just passed. As soon as proper adjustment is confirmed, I change lanes without looking over the shoulder. No problems, and I have been doing it that way for years.

Wow ... thanks for the link - good stuff. I'm going to try that positioning technique.
