Dave,
Looks like a good idea. If possible a date of first registration could be fun !
The full VIN will identify the destination country and model- coupe, cabrio etc .
Wow , I am still amazed that there is interest and that has doubled my interest to find a Euro/German market model with a VIN lower than 200 !!!!!!!!!!!!
and registered before the 2nd March 1989 .
Its a record so far !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Geoff

I created a 964 VIN DB on my website. Any interest in running with this type of Project?

I had a go creating one on the Yahoo Group here. These things are working out like London buses - none for ages and then several come along at the same time!!!
I don't mind which we use but we ought to settle on one else we don't get any advantage of it being split. Perhaps we should start a vote???

In discussions with Stephen we concluded that his was the best one to use since the Yahoo site is limited to 1000 records whereas his has a capacity for 40,000. We should be so lucky!!!

Red Rooster still has the oldest VIN - Who will be the one to beat him? Who has the last 964 VIN for each year?
Im trying to add content for the 964 but I also have a 36yr long love affair with a little 1968 912 that still sits in my parents garage
