Gentlemen,
I need your urgent help regarding the 964 RS NGT (M003).
I have committed to buying an NGT locally today, however, being on a business trip I have not seen the car yet and have no access to my documentation.
Therefore, could you please give me the serial number range for the RS (no differences between M002 and M003, right?) and could you also please point out the differences between M002 and M003. I do not want to get a replica...
And yes, I used the search function and found some but not all information.
Thank you for your help!

I'll post a link to this thread on the Porsche Club of Great Britain 964RS forum. We're generally a friendly bunch on there and a few of them drive N/GT's. Someone will hopefully help you out.
This might be useful too (probably has everything you need to know)...

Hope it helps,

According to the Tech spec booklet, M003 do have their own range of chassis numbers, specifically:
WPOZZZ96ZNS499001-9300. Normal RS range is 90001-96000 and Cup cars are 98001-98200 (these are all MY92 numbers). Engine number range is the same for all i.e.62N80001-90000

There is more confusion as NGt didn't go into Switzerland being outside EU, I understand the Swiss importer (AMAG) imported up to 50 RS/NGT and registered them in Switzerland. They would have details of Swiss cars, as mentioned correctly, seperate chassis n vin prefix for regular RS M002 & M003......shouldn't be too hard to spot a ringer
